Emma Neill is a fine art photographer born in Scotland, whose work weaves together the visual languages of portraiture, nature, and the unconscious. With a formal background in fine art, Neill brings painterly sensibilities to the lens, creating photographs that evoke dream states and quiet reverie. Her imagery often features solitary figures in natural settings, suspended between the real and the surreal, where emotion and environment blur into one another.
Drawing inspiration from myth, memory, and the ephemeral beauty of the natural world, Neill’s work invites viewers into a space of stillness and introspection. Each composition is a narrative held just beneath the surface, where flowers, light, and fabric become symbolic extensions of the inner self.
Neill continues to explore the boundaries between waking life and imagination through a practice that is as intuitive as it is conceptual.
